Welcome to the next event from the Health Talks series, comparing alternative paths toward commercializing research results.

Oftentimes, scientists may believe that participating in research commercialization and entrepreneurship means giving up one’s research career. However, this does not need to be so.

In the event, you will hear the story of three experienced scientists who took alternative paths to commercialize their promising research results.

• Risto Ilmoniemi – Distinguished Professor at Aalto University and founder and former CEO of Nexstim
• Vincenzo Cerullo – Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Helsinki and founder of Valo Therapeutics
• Jussi Hepojoki – Docent and Academy Research Fellow at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Helsinki
