Eastern Finland’s biggest startup-event Tahko Ski Lift Pitch is the place to be for investors, startups as well as growth companies in different business stages. Depending on your interests you can either apply for the pitching competition, or if pitching is not your thing, join in as a viewer!
Tahko Ski Lift Pitch Event on 8 April is a free of charge event for everyone interested. You only need to register on the virtual platform, and log in.
Startups have a chance to register to the two-phase pitching competition. Tahko Ski Lift Pitch Tracks -semifinals on 24 March is a reverse pitch -type of online event. The best startups will be invited to the finals = Tahko Ski Lift Pitch Event, where startups will battle for the 5000€ cash prize. Startups, register by 24 February!
Health Incubator Helsinki, Finland’s first long-term business development environment for research-based health sector startups, is welcoming new applications from 1 until 28 February 2021. After the selection process, approximately 12 teams will be chosen for the program to start in May 2021.

With The Fair Health Data Challenge, The Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra is looking for examples from all over Europe to show the way to adopting shared rules for a fair data economy. The aim is to identify existing or soon-to-be-published health and well-being solutions that are based on data sharing and fair principles. Human-centricity is seen as an advantage in the solution.
The prize is the benefit of the expertise of an international jury with which the 10 most promising solutions will be developed to become even better. There will also be international visibility on offer.

Digital Wellbeing Sprint (DWS) is an intensive course organized by Laurea, Haaga-Helia and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (also called as 3UAS) in May 2021. It is based on open innovation and co-creation methods. Project includes seven intensive working days when students in multidisciplinary teams create future digital services for health and wellbeing sector. Teams generate ideas and test user-friendly digital solutions for partner organizations. Would your company be one of those partners? Partnership is free of charge for companies/organizations. DWS will be organized using remote access.
