Finland is known for its high-class healthcare, and the country ranks among the strongest health technology economies as well as one of the most innovative economies in the world.

In the event, we presented four outstanding startups, Buddy Healthcare, KAMU Health, Klinik Healthcare Solutions and VideoVisit, each with their own digital solution to smooth the care pathway for both patients and healthcare providers.

Covid-19 has made the whole world aware of the benefits of telehealth – and no question about it, Finland’s got solutions.

The showcasing startups were sparred in Health Capital Helsinki’s “Shark Tank” by Peter Vesterbacka (Entrepreneur, Angel Investor and former Mighty Eagle of Angry Birds by Rovio), Pekka Kahri (Technology Officer, HUS Helsinki University Hospital) and Juha Paakkola (Director, Health Capital Helsinki).
