What we offer
Our collaboration model
Health Capital Helsinki works through a stepwise co-innovation model that turns ideas into impactful projects. It starts with identifying and vetting needs and ideas from alliance members, companies, and public partners. In the second stage, we focus on capacity matching and consortium building, bringing together the right expertise from research, healthcare, business, and cities. Next, focus on project preparation and writing funding applications, ensuring strong proposals for national and EU-level programmes.
Once funding is secured, co-innovation projects can take off, combining research excellence with practical healthcare and business needs. Finally, these projects generate research and development funding, new innovations, and concrete academic, business, and social value – benefiting both alliance members and company partners, while strengthening the Helsinki Capital Region as a leading hub for health innovation.
