Radical Health Festival Helsinki

Helsinki to host the 3rd edition of the Radical Health Festival Helsinki in 2026

The festival will bring together Europe’s health innovation ecosystem at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre for the third time in January 2026.

Healthcare systems are in trouble: ageing populations, shortages of health professionals, siloed information, and a lack of focus on prevention are just a few examples of the issues that need to be addressed. Radical Health Festival Helsinki invites everyone – from healthcare professionals, health businesses, and patients to policymakers and media – to join the paradigm shift.

Launched successfully in 2023 with over 1,100 international participants, Radical Health Festival Helsinki will return to Helsinki on 19–21 January 2026. The third edition of the event is organised by éditohealth and Messukeskus, with key partners including the City of Helsinki and the Finnish Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

Cybersecurity for health startups and growth companies

Free training materials: Cybersecurity for health startups and growth companies

How can your health tech startup stay secure in a world of increasing cybersecurity challenges? Boost your knowledge with practical strategies and expert advice from Cybersecure Health Tech Forum and Cybersecure Health Tech Workshop, held by Health Capital Helsinki, Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council, and Vertical in 2024.

The healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors represent a highly complex environment from a cybersecurity perspective. Cybercriminals target sensitive information like patient data, credit card details, and business secrets. While network traffic poses a significant risk, ensuring the physical security of medical devices in public spaces is equally critical. Additionally, mobile apps connected to these devices open up new pathways for potential attacks.

To help startups and growth companies navigate these challenges, Health Capital Helsinki, Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council (Uudenmaan liitto), and Vertical Innovation Consultancy organised two events in 2024: Cybersecure Health Tech Forum and Cybersecure Health Tech Workshop. While seating was limited, the training materials and keynote presentations are now available to all, free of charge.
