DESCRIPTION:Organisers: OuluHealth and Terkko Health Hub \nDuring the webinar\, you will learn about health technology assessment (HTA) and the new standard for health & wellness apps. \nDigiHealth HUB at the University of Oulu – Faculty of Medicine together with the Finnish Coordinating Center for Health Technology Assessment (FinCCHTA) has developed new assessment methods called Digi-HTA for healthcare digital solutions\, as the current assessment process does not fully consider the specific needs of new technical solutions. In developing the assessment methods\, the perspective of companies is particularly taken into consideration. \nThe standardization communities in CEN\, CENELEC\, ISO and IEC on health and wellness apps have jointly developed technical specification of Health software – Part 2: Health and wellness apps – Quality and reliability (ISO/DTS 82304-2:2021). This will provide a set of requirements for developers of health and wellness apps\, intending to meet the needs of health care professionals\, patients\, carers and the wider public.
